Kid Kin, the solo instrumental project of Oxford-based Peter Lloyd, provides a creative mixture between traditional post-rock and electronic synth-pop. His debut album, released in 2013, quickly gained positive press and airplay on BBC 6Music and BBC Oxford, with the latter selecting him to play their annual showcase in conjunction with Oxford Contemporary Music. A string of shows followed, including slots at the annual Oxford Punt showcase ("easily the loudest set of the night" - Nightshift), Threshold Festival (Liverpool), Audioscope, and a support slot for El Ten Eleven, showcasing Kid Kin's impressive one-man show featuring live guitar, sampling and looping techniques. Kid Kin's latest release, Holy Youth EP, is released on 1st December 2014.
