I don´t have an easy time when it comes to describing a listening experience - that said first I´ll try to describe "Ritalin and Mahogany" by Diego Garcia aka FLOWERS.
To me this album comes along as a perfect soundtrack for a foggy daybreak.
The sensation of waking up, starting into something new and falling back asleep from time to time accompanied me from the first listen (and yes, I´ve listened to it quite often).
It is also an album like a friend, you get to know each other better with every encounter, discover new facettes and aspect of the other person (in this case the album).
And it also reminds me of other peoples music, I just want to name a few of these: Console, Sensorama, Tortoise, The Sea And Cake - all of this not necessarily in a stilistic but more an emotional sense.
Alright, enough said - decide for yourself. Download, listen, tell a friend and not to forget: Enjoy the music! That´s what music is about.
